Position Summary:

The Corporate Services Assistant provides administrative support to the Paralegal Manager, attorneys in MWE Corporate Services, LLC (MWECS) and the Corporate Advisory Practice Group. The Corporate Services Assistant works under direct supervision and relies on instructions and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.

Ideal hours are 11:30 AM - 8 PM EST

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Delaware filings and order direct transactions with Delaware (i.e. good standings and certified charters)
  • Maintain and organize company records, contacts and essential documents
  • Handle emails, phone calls, and inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Ensure accuracy in tasks, such as data entry, proofreading and record-keeping
  • Follow established procedures and contribute to process improvement
  • Be open to changes and willing to learn new tools or systems
  • Work effectively with colleagues and support team goals
  • Be open to acquiring new skills and expanding knowledge base

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least three (3) years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong database management skills
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
