The Go Red for Women Director will manage and significantly grow fundraising activities, including an annual luncheon, for the Go Red for Women cause. This position requires someone who is skilled at relating to corporate professionals at the CEO level and who has demonstrated results at managing volunteers.

Primary duties include securing and growing major sponsorships; managing, motivating, and training high-level volunteers; planning and executing large events; and collaborating with AHA staff. The Go Red for Women Director is responsible for 20 – 25 face-to-face meetings with donors per week.

 
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least two years of fundraising/sales experience (3 – 5 years preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of Dallas area businesses and philanthropic communities.
Skill in developing and managing budgets.
Skill in developing proposals.
Skill in creating and executing event timelines.
Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Ability to train, manage, guide, and motivate volunteers to achieve objectives.
Ability to build relationships, multi-task, and work as part of a team.
Ability to travel daily within the Dallas area and to work flexible hours.
