Position Summary:

Responsible for the review of consumer and commercial loan packages for complete and accurate collateral documentation and the verification of compliance with Bank policy, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Also responsible for loan data input and loan funding. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct pre-funding review of loan files to assure all files are complete and accurate, have proper approval, and are within policy and procedure guidelines.
  • Responsible for initial loan funding.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate data input of consumer, commercial, commercial real estate and mortgage loans.
  • Identify exceptions and enter on tracking system and review and clear, as needed.
  • Assist with various projects, research and maintenance as needed.
  • Work closely with lending staff to resolve any loan file or customer issues.
  • May serve as back up for other department personnel in their absence
  • Adherence to the Bank’s BSA/AML policy and procedures
  • Any and all other duties as requested by management

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years Loan Operations experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with employees and clients
  • Extensive reading and computer usage
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Basic accounting skills and escrow accounts
  • Exceptional attention to detail and be able to perform duties accurately with multiple interruptions throughout day
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and follow assigned tasks through completion and work independently
  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel and basic office equipment
  • Experience using Jack Henry products such as Silverlake and Synergy
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
